If your Leeds business has several services, a useful website should help a visitor choose where to start. Clear service pages and a short question-led route can explain the options without asking customers to understand your internal terminology. I’m Hamza Hussain, a software developer based in Sheffield. I design, build and check your site, working with you remotely from the first brief to launch.
Nothing upfront from £29.99 a month, or pay once: one page £199, up to 5 pages £399, business site from £699. All prices include VAT.
An illustrative brief to help you plan. This is a fictional example, rather than a local client project.
Picture an accountancy business in Leeds whose visitors include sole traders and limited-company owners. The site could explain each service and offer a few questions that direct visitors to relevant information. Any resulting suggestion would be a starting point for a discussion, not professional advice. This Leeds brief is hypothetical. Browser Workbench’s actual accountancy project can be reviewed separately on the work page.
Use choices people can answer, such as business type and the help they are looking for. Avoid requiring a visitor to diagnose a technical accounting issue to reach the contact form.
Different work deserves its own scope and next step. Put the business’s approved inclusions and exclusions on those pages, with fees only where the business is ready to publish them.
Agree the limits of any question-led suggestion. Do not present a website result as a determination of legal obligations, eligibility or the correct treatment of an individual case.
Let visitors compare the main types of help and follow the relevant page. Keep professional titles, memberships and badges tied to evidence supplied by the business.
A service finder can narrow the options and link to the next page. Its wording and branching rules need the business’s review before they are used.
Carry useful choices into the message so the visitor can explain their question. Keep sensitive records and account documents out of the general first enquiry.
Review every question and suggested destination with the business. Check that a visitor can skip the finder, browse services directly and make contact without receiving an unsupported professional recommendation.
Your site should distinguish your base, where you travel to customers and any work you deliver online. Send the actual places you cover, any collection or appointment arrangements and the contact details you want customers to use.
I can help with service pages, clear contact routes and Google Business Profile setup where your business is eligible. A separate town page needs useful detail about your real offering there. Search positions and extra enquiries cannot be promised.
