How could your
website work better?
Send me your website for a free look at its design, ease of use, speed and security basics. I will give you three practical improvements, in priority order.
What I look at.
- Design and content
Layout, readability and whether your services and the next step are clear.
- Usability
Menus, phone layouts, buttons and forms, and how easily customers can find what they need.
- Performance
Loading speed, response to taps and clicks, and content that shifts as it loads. I look for likely causes, such as heavy images or scripts.
- Security basics
HTTPS, browser warnings and security headers that help protect visitors. I flag visible gaps that deserve a closer look.
You receive three priorities, with a reason and a suggested next step for each.
The check covers what I can see and measure on the public website. Deeper security testing or work inside your accounts is quoted separately.
What if I do not have a website?
Share your social page or business listing, or describe the business. I will suggest what your first website needs to explain and what customers should be able to do.
Design and content feedback can start from a public profile. Performance and security checks need your own business website.
The check is free. Any work you choose afterwards is discussed and quoted separately.

What the feedback looks like.
Three example priorities, each with the issue, why it matters and a suggested next step.
- Issue
- The contact page opens over HTTP, without HTTPS.
- Why it matters
- The connection lacks the protection HTTPS provides for information sent between the visitor and the website.
- Suggested next step
- Enable HTTPS for the page and form destination. Redirect HTTP visits to HTTPS and check for browser warnings.
- Issue
- On a phone, the quote button is only at the bottom of a long page.
- Why it matters
- Someone ready to enquire has to search for the next step.
- Suggested next step
- Add a clearly labelled quote button beside the service introduction, then check it opens the right form.
- Issue
- A large photo file is downloaded for a small image on a phone.
- Why it matters
- Visitors download more image data than the space needs.
- Suggested next step
- Resize and compress the photo, provide a phone-sized version and check the page again.
Your three priorities depend on your site and may cover several review areas.
