Websites for tradespeople: plumbers, electricians, builders and roofers

A website for a tradesperson starts at £199 for one page or £399 for up to 5 pages, whether you are a plumber, electrician, builder, roofer or another trade. Prices include VAT, I send a fixed quote before any work starts, and you keep your domain and website files. I'm Hamza, based in Sheffield, and I build for tradespeople anywhere in the UK.

One-page site £199, small site £399, business site from £699. All prices include VAT.

What a website for plumbers, electricians and other trades needs

Customers want to reach you, see that you are the right person for the job and send the details you need to quote.

  • Tap-to-call and WhatsApp buttons

Included in every trades build, so a customer on a phone reaches you in one tap.

  • A quote request that asks the right questions

The customer picks the type of job and answers a few questions, and can add a photo if you offer uploads. File limits and secure handling are agreed in your quote.

  • Accreditations, once you show proof

Space for Gas Safe, NICEIC, TrustMark or similar. I show a badge after you show me proof that it is current.

  • Photos of finished jobs

A page of your completed work next to a request-a-quote form, using photos you took.

  • A "do you cover my area?" postcode check

I can build this. It is not something I have built for a client yet, and it is quoted as an extra.

The demo uses a fictional home-improvements business. Pick a type of job and the questions change.

The landscaping example shows project photos beside a request-a-quote route. Both are concepts, not client sites.

How it works

Allow 10 working days for a one-page or small site and 14 working days for a business site, counted from when the brief and your content are ready.

  • Agree the brief

I talk through your business, pages and features with you. I send a fixed quote before work starts.

  • Choose your design

Choose from three homepage directions. I refine your choice and agree the words for your main pages with you.

  • Review the site

Try the site and leave notes through a review link. I test the layout, the forms and the main things a customer does. Two revision rounds are included.

  • Launch and hand over

After your approval, I launch the site and hand over your website files and account access.

After launch

I check in a few days after launch. For 4 weeks, small changes to your existing text, photos or layout are free. After that you can stay on optional hosting, or choose a plan with monthly small updates and cancel anytime.

What I have built

The two sites I have built so far are GHZ Accountants and Redpen Jobs. Both rely on clear services, fees and a way to ask, which a trade site needs too. The quote form and landscaping examples above are fictional concepts.

Questions tradespeople ask

How much does a website for a tradesperson cost?

A one-page site starts at £199, a small site of up to 5 pages at £399, and a business site of up to 8 pages at £699. All prices include VAT. The fixed quote confirms the final price before work starts.

Do I have to pay a monthly fee?

No. The build is a one-off price. You can use your own hosting and I hand over the website files. Hosting with me is optional, from £19.99 a month, and you can cancel anytime.

Who owns the website if I stop paying?

Your domain, website files and hosting stay in accounts you own. At launch I hand over your website files and account access, and you can move the site to another host whenever you choose.

Can customers ask for a quote on the site, with a photo?

Yes. Every build includes a contact form with spam protection, and a quote form that asks about the type of job can be added. A photo upload can be offered too. File limits, secure handling and how long photos are kept are agreed in your quote.

Can you show my Gas Safe or NICEIC badge?

Yes, once you show me proof that it is current. I place the logo and details you give me, and I do not add a badge I have not seen evidence for. The same goes for TrustMark and other schemes.

Can customers call or message me from the site?

Yes. Every trades build includes tap-to-call and WhatsApp buttons, so a customer on a phone reaches you in one tap.

How long will it take?

Allow 10 working days for a one-page or small site and 14 working days for a business site, counted from when the brief and your content are ready.

Will it help me show up on Google?

It helps Google understand what you do and where. Every build has page titles, clear headings and a page map for Google. I cannot promise a position in the results, and ongoing SEO is separate.
