Web design for London businesses, done remotely from Sheffield
If you run a business in London and want a website, I can build it for £199 for one page, £399 for up to 5 pages or £699 for up to 8 pages. I work from Sheffield, not London: there is no London office or address, and no meetings in London. Everything happens online, which suits many busy owners, and the quote is fixed before any work starts.

What “London” means here
I’d rather be plain about it.
This site belongs to a sole trader in Sheffield. I work with businesses across the UK, London included, by message, callback and shared links. I do not claim London clients, a London team or a London workspace.
If you want someone to sit in your office, a London agency will suit you better. If you want a clear price and a developer who answers directly, remote works well.
How a London project runs
Four stages, each ending with your say-so.
Brief by message or phone
Send the contact form or a WhatsApp message, or request a callback. I talk through your business, pages and features, then send a fixed quote.
Design on screen
You review three homepage directions and choose one, from wherever you are.
Test through a link
You try the working site on your own phone and leave notes. Two revision rounds are included.
Launch with the files
You get your website files and account access at launch.
Your customers are in London. I am not.
Showing the parts of London you serve
Searchers use borough, area and postcode names.
List the places you really cover in plain text, near the top of the page. If you work across several boroughs, say which. A visitor should know within seconds whether you reach them.
I would not build a page for every borough with only the name changed. Those pages tell a customer nothing new. A separate page is worth it when you have real work, or something specific to say, in that area.

All prices include VAT. Your fixed quote confirms the final price before any work starts.
Hosting with me is optional, from £19.99 a month. With your own hosting there is no monthly fee to me.
Timings are 10 working days for a one-page or small site and 14 working days for a business site.
Not included: domain registration and renewal, email mailboxes, paid services from other companies, and extra pages and features, which are quoted first.

Questions London businesses ask
Do you have a London office?
No. Work is done from Sheffield and no business address is published. Every stage is remote.
Will you travel to London to meet?
No. The brief, the design review and the launch happen online. If you want to talk first, you can request a callback.
Is web design in London more expensive with you?
No. Prices do not change by postcode: £199 for one page, £399 for up to 5 pages, £699 for up to 8 pages. All prices include VAT.
Can the site say I work in London?
Yes, if you do. You tell me the areas you serve and I name them on the pages. I only name places that are true for your business.
Will you help me rank in London searches?
Every build includes page titles, headings and a page map for Google, and I name the areas you serve. I cannot promise a position in the results.
