Website redesign that makes your services easier to find

A website redesign with me starts at £199 for one page, £399 for up to 5 pages or £699 for up to 8 pages. I rebuild the site around what your customers need to do, and keep what already works: your domain, your good content and the pages people already use. Prices include VAT, and a fixed quote lists the pages and tools before any work starts. If you are not sure a redesign is needed, ask for the free website check first.

One-page site £199, small site £399, business site from £699. All prices include VAT.

An example checklist for a redesign. Yours is made from your own site.

Signs it is time for a redesign

None of these means starting from nothing. Most mean a better arrangement of what you have.

  • Customers cannot find what you do

Services are buried, named oddly or spread over pages nobody opens.

  • It is hard to use on a phone

Small text, tiny buttons, or a menu that gets in the way.

  • The enquiry route is unclear

A visitor has to hunt for the form, the number or the booking link.

  • Changes are slow or impossible

You cannot update a price or a photo without help, or it breaks something.

What changes and what stays

A redesign replaces the design and structure. It does not have to replace everything.

You can keep your domain, which stays registered to you. I review your pages, content and features before I quote, and agree which wording and photos move across, which are rewritten and which are dropped.

The design is new: layout, navigation, and how the site works on a phone. I show you three homepage directions to choose from, and then build the rest of the site around the one you pick.

Anything the old site did that customers rely on, such as a booking link, a quote form or a connection to another tool, goes on the list before I quote. New features are scoped and priced separately.

Keep what works. Replace what gets in the way.

What about Google?

This is the part most people worry about, so here is the plain version.

Old page addresses that matter are listed before the quote, and where an address changes I plan a permanent redirect from the old page to the closest new one. That is agreed in the quote, not assumed.

Search visibility can move around after a site changes. Redirects and checks help manage that, but they cannot guarantee your current position. I never promise a ranking.

Hosting with me is optional, from £19.99 a month. With your own hosting there is no monthly fee to me.

Allow 10 working days for a one-page or small site and 14 working days for a business site, counted from when the brief and your content are ready. Moving content from the old site is covered in your quote.

Not included: domain registration and renewal, email mailboxes, paid services from other companies, and extra pages and features, which are quoted first.

What to send me

  • Your current website link

And what you would like to improve.

  • Pages to keep

The ones customers use, and any you want to drop.

  • Tools it connects to

Booking, forms, payment or other services.

  • Where things are held

Who registers your domain and who hosts the site.

  • Your email setup

Provider and any mailboxes, so a domain change does not break email.

  • Photos and wording

Whatever you own and want reused.

Questions about a website redesign

How much does a website redesign cost?

£199 for one page, £399 for up to 5 pages and £699 for up to 8 pages. All prices include VAT. A fixed quote confirms the pages, any content transfer and the total before work starts.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

I cannot promise you will not. Search visibility can fluctuate after a site changes. I plan redirects from important old addresses to their closest new page and check the new site before launch, which helps manage the change.

Can I keep my domain?

Yes. It can stay registered to you. If its settings change, I check your email records against your provider’s instructions so business email keeps working.

Can you reuse my existing text and photos?

Where they are still accurate and you have the right to use them. We agree what moves, what is rewritten and what is dropped before the quote.

How long does a redesign take?

Allow 10 working days for a one-page or small site and 14 working days for a business site, from when your brief and content are ready.

What if my site needs only a few fixes?

Then a redesign is more than you need. The free website check says so honestly, and small changes can be quoted by themselves.

Get a fixed quote before you commit

Send your current site and tell me what is not working. The quote lists the pages, features and total price before you agree to anything. I reply within one working day.
