For a Glasgow business providing on-site work, the first website enquiry can establish the type of job and where it is needed. The page should make coverage clear while leaving the final scope, appointment and price for the business to confirm. I’m Hamza Hussain, a software developer based in Sheffield. I design, build and check your site, working with you remotely from the first brief to launch.
Nothing upfront from £29.99 a month, or pay once: one page £199, up to 5 pages £399, business site from £699. All prices include VAT.
An illustrative brief to help you plan. This is a fictional example, rather than a local client project.
Consider a fictional Glasgow furniture repair business handling selected repairs and restoration enquiries. A customer could describe the item and the work they want discussed, with optional photographs if the business finds them useful. The website would explain what the business accepts before asking for details. This example is a planning exercise, not a claim of a Glasgow client, specialist restoration credentials or a guaranteed repair.
Identify the materials, repair types and exclusions the business has confirmed. Do not make a broad restoration claim if only a narrow range of work is actually available.
Agree whether an overall view and a description are useful for the first reply. Uploads need an agreed handling process, and images should not be presented as sufficient for a final assessment.
Use the actual arrangements for visits, delivery or collection. Do not invent a collection service, travel radius or workshop address to make the page look more local.
Explain the services using authorised photographs and accurate project notes where available. Keep inspiration images distinct from work the business has completed.
Let a visitor describe what they know without forcing a material or repair diagnosis. An unsure answer can be more useful than a required guess.
Explain how the business reviews a request and agrees any further inspection. Costs, timing and feasibility remain subject to its reply.
Try an enquiry with only a short description and another with the agreed optional detail. Check that neither the page nor its confirmation message promises acceptance of an item, a collection or a fixed repair cost.
Your site should distinguish your base, where you travel to customers and any work you deliver online. Send the actual places you cover, any collection or appointment arrangements and the contact details you want customers to use.
I can help with service pages, clear contact routes and Google Business Profile setup where your business is eligible. A separate town page needs useful detail about your real offering there. Search positions and extra enquiries cannot be promised.
