Web design for businesses in Bristol

A Bristol business can use its website to show which requests it handles and what a customer needs to supply. The example here explores a creative service with a few clear options, rather than an open-ended list that leaves visitors unsure where to start. I’m Hamza Hussain, a software developer based in Sheffield. I design, build and check your site, working with you remotely from the first brief to launch.

Nothing upfront from £29.99 a month, or pay once: one page £199, up to 5 pages £399, business site from £699. All prices include VAT.

The project runs online between your business in Bristol and me in Sheffield.

Planning a small design studio’s enquiry pages

An illustrative brief to help you plan. This is a fictional example, rather than a local client project.

Imagine a fictional design studio in Bristol offering print layout and selected digital design work. A visitor may know they need a brochure or presentation without knowing the production terminology. The site could explain the deliverables and collect a short brief. This is an illustrative website-planning example, not a Bristol client, a local market finding or a claim that Browser Workbench offers every service described in the example.

Questions to answer before asking for a quote

  • What will the customer receive?

Explain the actual deliverables and the limits of the work. Separate creating a design from printing, photography, writing or other services unless the studio really offers those too.

  • What must the customer supply?

List the text, images, dimensions or existing brand files that affect the quote. Make it possible to enquire before all those materials are ready, without implying work can begin immediately.

  • How should a deadline be discussed?

Ask for the desired date and let the business confirm feasibility. A date entered in a form should not become an automatic delivery promise.

A page plan for that example

  • Services described through deliverables

Use clear examples of what the studio produces, with authorised images and accurate captions. Give meaningfully different work its own explanation rather than multiplying similar pages.

  • A short project brief

Collect the project type, purpose and desired timing, with room for a plain-language description. Detailed production files can follow through an agreed process.

  • A visible review process

Explain how a brief becomes an agreed scope and how feedback is handled. Publish only the revision arrangements and ownership terms the studio has confirmed.

What to check before the website goes live

Check the service descriptions against the studio’s actual deliverables. Try an enquiry from someone unfamiliar with design terminology and review whether the received message is enough for a useful first reply.

Explain where your Bristol business works

Your site should distinguish your base, where you travel to customers and any work you deliver online. Send the actual places you cover, any collection or appointment arrangements and the contact details you want customers to use.

I can help with service pages, clear contact routes and Google Business Profile setup where your business is eligible. A separate town page needs useful detail about your real offering there. Search positions and extra enquiries cannot be promised.

Working together from Bristol

Do you have an office in Bristol?

I work from Sheffield. Projects for Bristol businesses run remotely; there is no Bristol branch or in-person meeting included.

Can I check the website before it launches?

Yes. You receive a working review link to try on your own phone and computer. You can leave notes before approving launch.

Can you improve my existing site?

Send its address and the problem you want to solve. I can review what your platform supports and quote for agreed improvements or explain whether a replacement is needed.

Get a free quote and see your preview first

You see your preview before you pay anything. Don’t like the preview? You owe nothing. I reply within one working day.

Other service areas: London, Birmingham, Stockport, all areas served.

Two sites I have built so far are GHZ Accountants and Redpen Jobs: see the work. The demos on this page are fictional concepts.
